Muenster or munster is a semi-soft cheese from the United States. Muenster Cheese is a semi-soft, smooth and elastic cheese. In Wisconsin, it's a bit firmer, ranging from mild-to-sharp, with a bright orange, natural annatto coating. Mild and nutty and more flavorful with age.

Fresh Muenster
In my honest opinion, there is no better cheese than fresh Muenster. We purchased some on February 16 that was just made on the 14th and it was amazing! There is a reason that the fresh Muenster is gone in such a short amount of time! I highly recommend the Muenster!
