Ski Queen Gjetost (pronounced "Yay-toast) is a Norwegian cheese. Ski Queen is a light brown, semi-hard cheese; made from a blend of cow's and goat's milk. It has a delicious, slightly sweet taste.
The thick but almost spreadable consistency of Gjetost lends itself well to anything crisp and crunchy, be it crackers, toasted bread, or thinly sliced apples and pears.
