It has been just about two months since we bought The Cheese Store. We have painted, changed our hours, added a point of sale system, added several new products, and created a website for online sales. Whew! I think I need a vacation. We also plan on getting the kitchen commerical ready which is more of an undertaking than I thought. We need to upgrade to a commerical range, add a commercial vent hood, and hand wash sink. Can you say Ca-Ching! We had not expected that extra expense so I started a Go Fund Me page to aid us in our journey. We don't know what to expect but we will be appreciative of all the support we get.
As we develop a routine I think it is time to review the notebook. We started a notebook of ideas for the store and it will keep us on track for future growth. We would like to introduce Fondue and Cheese Boards to our customers. We would like to add a variety of charcuterie to our growing list of products for sale. When the kitchen opens up we would like to offer local deliveries and sell ready meals for the busy families. One step at a time, we know. It is coming together nicely. We look forward to the next few months.
